Following his Off-Broadway debut with Atlantic Theater Company in 2017, which won a Drama Desk Award for "Unique Theatrical Experience," Derren Brown makes his Broadway debut with Secret. Hailing from Croydon in South London in the UK, Derren Brown is arguably England's most celebrated mentalist and illusionist. He shot to fame in 2000 thanks to his television debut in "Derren Brown: Mind Control". Since then, he has starred in three series of "Trick of the Mind," two series of "Trick or Treat," "The Events," "Derren Brown Investigates," and "The Experiments," as well as over a dozen one-off TV specials.

He is also no stranger to London's West End and is a two-time Olivier Award winner (taking home the trophies for "Best Entertainment" in 2006 and 2012 for his West End productions of Something Wicked This Way Comes and Svengali, respectively, and earning an Olivier nomination for Derren Brown: Enigma in 2010.

His other previous stage shows include Derren Brown Live (2003), Mind Reader - An Evening of Wonders (2007), Infamous (2013), Miracle (2015), and Derren Brown: Underground (2017).

Brown is also the author of five books: Absolute Magic, Pure Effect, Tricks of the Mind, Confessions of a Conjuror, and Happy, and even has his own theme park attraction at Thorpe Park, just outside London, called Derren Brown's Ghost Train.
