My Name is Lucy Barton Tickets

Manhattan Theatre Club continues its 2019-2020 Broadway season with the American premiere of My Name is Lucy Barton, starring four-time Tony Award nominee Laura Linney.

Based on the best-selling novel by Elizabeth Strout, adapted for the stage by Rona Munro, this one-woman show first premiered at the Bridge Theatre in London, marking Linney's UK stage debut, in the summer of 2018. Following rave reviews, Linney also agreed to a special return engagement in winter 2019 and now, thanks to Manhattan Theatre Club, New York audiences have the opportunity to experience this haunting and emotionally driven play.

Laura Linney has enjoyed an extremely fruitful relationship with Manhattan Theatre Club throughout her career. She originally made her Off-Broadway debut with the company in the 1991 production of Beggars in a House of Plenty at New York City Center and would return in 1992 for the MTC production of Sight Unseen. She would return to the latter play in 2004 for MTC, this time on Broadway, earning her second Tony Award nomination. In fact, her third and fourth Tony nominations also resulted through her performances in Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway productions of Time Stands Still (2010) and Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes (2017), where she alternated the roles of Regina Giddens and Birdie Hubbard with her co-star Cynthia Nixon at every performance.

My Name is Lucy Barton marks the much-loved star of stage and screen's first solo show on the Great White Way, adding yet another arrow to this talented lady's quiver.
