What is A Sign of the Times about?

Set against the backdrop of 1965 America, A Sign of the Times the musical explores a time of significant upheaval, with iconic songs like "Downtown," "Gimme Some Lovin'," and "Rescue Me" underscoring it all. Amid the Vietnam War, burgeoning civil rights and women's liberation movements, and the vibrant changes in New York City, the ambitious Cindy arrives in town, trying to find her place. Audiences are immersed in the ‘60s through Cindy's eyes as she explores her passion for photography, capturing the era's history.

The show, with a book by Lindsey Hope Pearlman based on Richard J. Robin's original story, is directed by Gabriel Barre and promises a nostalgic trip back to an unforgettable decade.
