When she least expects it, Delia, a beloved novelist and the character in her own story played by Marguiles, makes a surprising connection with a man from her past. What could follow next besides falling into her own romantic comedy? A surprising and unlikely spark soon grows into an enchanting love story that seems to defy all odds in the face of life’s challenges. Reminding Delia, and audiences, that love comes in many forms at different life stages, Left on Tenth celebrates the messy but beautiful true story of two people with the courage to open their hearts — to one another, and themselves.
Stroman, a five-time Tony Award winner (The Producers), directs this new comedy. Known for her precise staging and hilarious physical humor, the production is sure to feature smarts and laughs. Ephron is also a queen of that: sometimes writing with her famous filmmaker sister Nora, Ephron infuses her everyday stories with extraordinary wit, grace, and affection.
