The new musical reunites celebrated Academy Award–winning songwriter Schwartz with Tony and Emmy winner Chenoweth, two decades after they changed Broadway forever with Wicked. It started off in Boston where it won raves: “Chenoweth soars in a fabulous, tour-de-force performance,” Theatrely wrote.

WBUR called it “lavish, funny, and heartwarming. The Queen of Versailles dazzles in an exciting night of theatre,” and Variety said “Schwartz’s score is the most emotionally affecting of his long career.”
