Hit comedy show 'Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha' to return off Broadway
Julia Masli's largely improvised solo performance premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and played an acclaimed run at NYC's Soho Playhouse in 2024.
The Public Theater will present the NYC return engagement of Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, a solo comedy show written and performed by Julia Masli. Performances run from May 30 to June 22.
Masli, a trained clown, uses a bronze leg and a handbell to clear all your worries in this show, which is largely improvised each night based on audience participation.
“Hahahahahahahahahaha,” Masli said in a statement about her excitement of bringing the show to the Public and back to New York. “Hihihi hahahahahahahaha hoho.”
Kim Noble directs Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, which previously premiered to acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and had hit runs at NYC's Soho Playhouse and D.C.'s Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
Sound design for Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha is by Alessio Festuccia, lighting design by Lily Woodford, improvised sound score by Sebastian Hernandez, improvised lighting score by Sarah Chapin, and costumes by Alice Wedge, Annika Thiems, and David Curtis-Ring.
