Extra, extra! Lincoln Center Theater has named the full cast for the spring 2025 Broadway premiere of Floyd Collins, including Jeremy Jordan, Lizzy McAlpine, and more. Performances begin on March 27 ahead of an April 21 opening at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

Jordan is a Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee for his performance as Jack Kelly in Newsies and a Theatre World Award winner for playing Clyde Barrow in Bonnie and Clyde, both on Broadway. He is also known for Broadway performances in Waitress, American Son, and, most recently, The Great Gatsby in the title role.

McAlpine is an indie pop singer-songwriter who rose to widespread fame after sharing her songs to TikTok and Instagram. She has released three albums — Give Me a Minute, Five Seconds Flat, and Older — and now makes her Broadway debut.

The full Floyd Collins cast includes Jordan as Floyd Collins, McAlpine as Nellie Collins, Jason Gotay as Homer Collins, Tony nominee Sean Allan Krill as H.T. Carmichael, Tony nominee Marc Kudisch as Lee Collins, Wade McCollum as Bee Doyle, Jessica Molaskey as Miss Jane, Taylor Trensch as Skeets Miller and Cole Vaughan as Jewell Estes.

The ensemble includes Kevin Bernard, Dwayne Cooper, Jeremy Davis, Charlie Franklin, Kristen Hahn, Happy McPartlin, Kevyn Morrow, Zak Resnick, Justin Showell, Colin Trudell and Clyde Voce.

The musical dramatizes the true story of how Floyd Collins, a real-life cave explorer from the 1920s, got trapped underground and was nearly cut off from contact with the outside world. The rescue effort created the first media circus as we know it, with the press and public waiting eagerly — sometimes flocking to the site in person — to find out whether he would escape.

Floyd Collins features folk and bluegrass music and lyrics by Adam Guettel (The Light in the Piazza, Days of Wine and Roses) and a book by Tina Landau (SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical), who also directs.

The creative team also includes scenic designer dots, costume designer Anita Yavich, lighting designer Scott Zielinski, sound designer Dan Moses Schreier, projection designer Ray Sun, music director Ted Sperling, and choreographer Jon Rua.
