Lea DeLaria, Andrew Keenan-Bolger join 'Titanique' cast
The Screen Actors Guild Award winner and Drama League Award nominee will step into the award-winning Off-Broadway parody musical at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
They're making a splash! Lea DeLaria and Andrew Keenan-Bolger will join the cast of Titanique off Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
DeLaria, beginning performances as Ruth on February 4, is best known for starring in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Recent stage credits include POTUS on Broadway and The Night of the Iguana off Broadway.
Keenan-Bolger, playing Victor Garber/Luigi from January 21, is best known for his Broadway roles as Crutchie in Newsies (Outer Critics Circle Award nomination), Jesse Tuck in Tuck Everlasting (Drama League Award nominee), and JoJo in Seussical.
DeLaria and Keenan-Bolger will replace current Titanique cast members Joel Waggoner and Anthony Murphy, respectively. They join a cast that also features Dee Roscioli as Céline Dion, Cassadee Pope as Rose, Max Jenkins as Jack Dawson, Callum Francis as Cal, and Lisa Howard as The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
Titanique is a musical parody retelling of James Cameron's award-winning Titanic film, in which a fictionalized version of Céline Dion retells her version of what happened to Jack and Rose. The show is set to Dion's hit songs, including the iconic Titanic theme "My Heart Will Go On."
